Containment – Short Animation
Modelled in Blender using Procedural Textures
“Containment” was a short animation I created primarily to practice more camera movements and specifically to practice my sound design skills.
There’s lots of layers to the audio which I am very proud of so if you can listen with headphones I’d highly recommend!
Most of the textures you see here are procedural and built within Blender – even the eye (which I didn’t create) is textured procedurally!
The only thing that wasn’t procedural was the text on the screens and the steam that vents from the pod as it rises. The steam was a video, masked out, and presented on a flat plane.
